Thatched Roof Waterproofing

This project entails waterproofing one of the largest thatched roofs in Africa, with access primarily facilitated through rope access techniques. To ensure the successful execution of this project, we have outlined the following project scope:

• Waterproofing Excellence: ATS Africa is currently grades by CIBD SN 6 , our aims to deliver top-tier waterproofing solutions that guarantee the longevity and protection of the Jasmin Thatched Roof.
• Safety First: Ensuring the safety of our workforce and minimising risks associated with rope access techniques is paramount.
• Minimise Disruption: We will strive to minimise disruptions to the regular operations of the facility during the waterproofing process.

Scope of Work:

• Site Assessment: We Conduct a thorough assessment of the Jasmin Thatched Roof to identify existing issues and establish a baseline for waterproofing requirements.
• Waterproofing Solution: We then develop and implemented a specialised waterproofing solution tailored to the unique needs of the roof.
• Materials Procurement: Source high-quality waterproofing materials and equipment required for the project.
• Rope Access Techniques: Utilise rope access techniques to gain access to different parts of the roof, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare the roof surface by cleaning, repairing, and priming it as needed before applying waterproofing materials.
• Application: Apply the selected waterproofing materials with precision, ensuring complete coverage and sealing.
• Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality control measures to verify the effectiveness of the waterproofing application.
• Safety Measures: Continuously monitor and enhance safety measures for workers using rope access techniques, adhering to industry standards.
